Mugsy Went Home! |
Well, we are finished. We have completed another
round of Boxer puppies. Mugsy left us today to go
to his new forever home. His parents were
pleasantly surprised at his size. He has grown
tremendously since they saw him at 3 weeks old!
Anyways, he was a happy puppy when he left all
snuggled in his momma's arms! We pray for the best
of life for all of our babies this year. We had 2
litters with a total of 14 puppies in our home and
loved by us for a short season! Shannon gave me a
hug and said, "Well, honey, now you can rest." I
cried and said, "I'm want another litter of
puppies." He looked at me and just laughed! Then
in a stern voice he said, "NO!" Hahaha Next year
will be here before we know it and we will be right
back into the saddle again. Until then ... keep
lovin' your Boxer Baby with all your heart! Kim :0)

Dozer Has Went Home! |
Well, our ornery puppy out of the litter went home
to Ft. Madison, Iowa this evening. Yep, his family
came to pick him up and he acted as if they have
been around our house since his birth. He was our
alpha puppy and has a very outgoing personality.
The kind that have just a hint of chili pepper
spice to make life alot more interesting and fun.
They were very accepting of his personality and
assured us that he will fit in just fine!
Whewwwww....we are very happy to know that he will
be well taken care of. He also has a Boxer friend
already waiting for him when he arrives (a girl at
that!) Anyways, feeding time this PM was slim
pickins as there are only 3 little puppies left in
the whelping box now! After tomorrow morning there
will be only 1 littel boxer baby in the whelping
box...and because of that I'm sure he will be
spoiled to pieces!!! Anyways, I knew this time
would come soon but not this soon. It feels as if
it was just yesterday that they were born. I'm sad
in my heart but happy in my mind knowing ALL of
them are going to such wonderful homes! Until next
time we visit ... hug your Boxer Baby for me! Kim :0)

Lucia Has Went Home! |
Our sweet Lucia left us today and will now become a new canine
resident in Ft. Madison, Iowa. I cried when she left. But I got a nice
hug from her new owner, Tami! She will be greatly "loved" not
spoiled, which is exactly what we want for all of our Boxer Babies. I
know that Miss Lucia will have lots of fun growing up with her
human family and a Boxer friend already in the home. So, with that
said we only have 4 cute Boxer faces looking at us at the moment.
However, Dozer goes home this evening and Layla and Violet go
home on Sunday. Mugsy gets to stay with us for just a while longer.
Until next time we visit ... prayer for me again! I'm a mess ...Kim :0)

Zaden Left Us Today! |
Well, it was once again a bitter/sweet moment. Our
handsome buddy Zaden (wka: Larry) left with his new
forever family today. They were so excited to pick
him up. He was trying to adjust to the new sight
and smells of these new people who were taking him
for a ride in a very strange moving object! We
pray that he will be a very good boy for the
Colella's and that they will have many, many years
of enjoyment and pleasure with this little guy
(although he won't stay little for long!) Well,
that leaves 5 to go! I'm a wreck but so satisfied
to know that they are going to loving and caring
homes. Until tomorrow when Lucia and Dozer go home
... have a good nights sleep! I sure hope I do :0)

The Time Has Come, Once Again! |
Oh my goodness, my emotions are starting to go
crazy one more time this year. I'm gonna be an
emotional wreck by the time this year ends. Then
we start all over next spring/summer! But, this
litter of puppies have arrived to their prime age
of 8 weeks old and ready to leave us and go to
their new forever homes. It is always a
bitter/sweet moment. The puppies are ready to go
and start their new lives. They are growing so
quickly. The little stinkers are really starting
to go out on their own adventures, not staying very
close to the house or in our yard. Their favorite
place to play, for whatever crazy reason, is our
neighbors ditch in the back yard. No, it's not a
deep ditch - just a ditch that they can leap off
into and then run through the taller grass! Oh,
them silly puppies. Anyways, we are scheduling
dates and times for pickup this weekend and the
following week. Well, I'd better get back to
getting everything ready for the new parents. My
work is not done, yet. Until next time we visit
... say a prayer for me and my emotions! Kim :0)
